DAS-142
Definition
The Request for Dispatch of an Apprentice form. A public works contractor sends it to an apprenticeship committee to ask for an apprentice, at least 72 hours ahead, not counting weekends and holidays. Except on projects with less than 40 hours of journeyworker work, apprentices are requested in blocks of at least 8 hours. A committee can answer a DAS-142 emailed from JamFile online, with no account.
